Classical Mongolian script legend

Classical Mongolian script was the first writing system created for the Mongolian language. It was developed around 1204 upon Genghis Khan’s orders and is still used today in parts of Inner Mongolia.

For those interested, I have included the meanings of the Classical Mongolian script (Mongol Tolbo font; interpreted by Batjavkhaa Batsaikhan) used in the novel. The script at the beginnings of Parts 1, 2, and 3 are simply the Mongol numbers for 1, 2, and 3.

The script in the Dedication means family.

The script used to mark the beginning of each of the historical Temujin segments is The Secret History of the Mongols.

The script after the Genghis Khan quotes that start Parts 1 and 2 is Genghis Khan.
